Sooo this week we studied more light stuff. We learned more about light and figured out how light comes from light bulbs and how we see light upside down 'n stuff.
'k here goes:
Quail: What did the fabulous class learn this week?
Ants:
Mon. We learned that when light comes from light bulbs the rays come out in all different directions and it lights up a big area. We tested this hypothesis by covering the bulb with tinfoil and we left one hole open. Then we held a piece of cardboard up and saw a big area light up. Realizing we made an assumption with tinfoil we switched to cardboard but got the same results.
Tues: I had a lesson but I went after school so here's what I have :
After school we learned that if u hold up a marker some light bounces of the marker and into our eyes, but not all of it. We also saw that if u hold a flame up to a hole in a piece of cardboard the image appears to be upside down. Our hw was to find out why.
Wed: We tested experiments on why the flame on the board was upside down. Light goes in through the hole and bumps against each other then the image appears upside down. We also see objects through the hole in our eyes (pupil) and the upside down image appears on the back of our eye bulb then our brain flips the image.
Thurs: Quiz and we discussed more about light.
Fri: We did an experiment with a mirror and lasers and how a mirror enlarges images.
Quail: Why is this important.
Ant: This is important to know because if we don't comprehend how we see we can't be good doctors or eye doctors. Also this subject relates to projectors and things that involve movies and mirrors.
Yup that's the week!!!
